Emily Kitchen is an Environmental Scientist and creative artist with roots in both upstate New York and the Bay Area in California. Emily has been sewing for over 20 years creating wall art, quilts and clothing. Inspired by texture and color, many of her projects depict nature and outdoor scenes.

Emily received her Bachelors of Science in Environmental Studies specializing in Ecology in 2006. Her professional career has provided the ability to travel to communities throughout the United States. Her career in public health has provided experience working with underrepresented communities and inspires a commitment to bringing art to the public as a way to share history and experience.
